Afu transmigrates to another Ming dynasty. As an ordinary woman, she witnesses the turbulent shifts of power among the Imperial Guards, the Eastern Depot, the Western Depot, and other factions. Armed with knowledge of the future, she joins hands with people of the past to strive together and write a different possible future for the Ming dynasty.
