In the Age of Starfall, the universe has become a festering wound.
The Divine Court hangs bone-tax bills high above, draining the bloodlines of countless races in the name of “purifying Dao Corruption.” Those with insufficient star marrow are bled to pay their taxes, while those whose contamination exceeds the limit are melted down on the spot.
When Lin Jin, a graveyard scavenger, lay dying before the Star-Burying Stele, the Void Spirit Blood Crystal within him suddenly awakened.
The stele’s inscription transformed into the "Sutras of Corrosion and Ash" and branded itself into his mind:
“Refine all filth into fuel, burn your own body to ash.”
He had become the last Corrosion-Devouring Body in the universe, able to devour Dao Corruption and turn it into power. He was also the seventh experimental subject in the Divine Court’s extermination “Zeroing Plan.”
The paradox of survival and destruction now rages within him:
The Ashen Domain as the furnace, the Star-Burying Stele as kindling, and the Corrosion-Devouring Body as the spark.
When the day comes that the Divine Court is burned to ash, will the universe truly be brought to zero?
Or will humanity’s backbone be reforged in the embers?
It's real and beautiful, the quality of tomatoes is pretty good, and the writing is good.
