[Training and growth + Daily life + Imperial examinations + High office at court + Master of both civil and martial arts + No romance]

Wei Tingshi was born a girl, but her parents raised her as a boy from birth. By chance, she obtained a vitality talisman that remade her body, sharpened her senses, and enhanced her intellect. She went on to take the imperial examinations and become an official.

She works for the people, discovers new crops, and helps everyone in Southern Zhao get enough to eat. When enemy nations invade, she creates powerful weapons to defend the homeland. When her identity as a woman posing as a man is exposed, the emperor not only spares her, but appoints her Southern Zhao’s first grand chancellor.

Wei Tingshi says in trepidation, “Your Majesty! I fear I’m not worthy of the post of grand chancellor.”

The emperor chuckles. “Would you be worthy of the position of Noble Consort, then, my dear minister?”

Wei Tingshi: In that case, I’ll pass. I’m much better suited to being grand chancellor.
