My Fridge Connects to Ancient Times, and I Saved an Entire City

[A refrigerator connects to the ancient past + conversations between past and present + mutual devotion + happy ending]

After Lin Qianxue’s parents’ business fails, they both die in an accident, leaving almost nothing of the family’s assets. Everything has been sold or mortgaged, including the mansion where she lives.

While sorting through the things in the house, she unexpectedly finds an old refrigerator left by her grandmother. It looks like it came straight from the 1980s. When she opens the door, she finds it piled with objects from ancient times, so she puts some of her own belongings inside.

At the official residence in Pangxi City, Shen Shiyan discovers a cabinet that spits out all kinds of “supplies.” The other end of the cabinet connects to the old refrigerator Lin Qianxue has found.

The two begin exchanging information and supplies. With the daily necessities Lin Qianxue provides, Shen Shiyan overcomes one disaster after another. Lin Qianxue, meanwhile, uses the ancient treasures Shen Shiyan gives her to salvage the “mess” her father left behind and take over the family business.
