Even a Late-Rising Sun Is Red

Zhu Xinglai was sickly from childhood. Whenever he groaned in pain, his mother would grit her teeth and say, “If you can’t go on, then just go! Don’t drag us down with you!” Once, while his mother was treating him with limewater, Dr. Xu from the provincial capital arrived just in time to pull him back from death’s grasp. Seeing the many medical books piled beside Zhu Xinglai’s bed, Dr. Xu asked with a smile why he read so much yet still used limewater to treat himself. He then taught him how to study and learn medicine, and left him his contact information. In time, Zhu Xinglai became a renowned doctor whose treatments never failed, and amassed billions in assets. The employees at his company never had to worry about money or family troubles.
