The Young Nun Roams the Martial World

At dawn, mist swirled around Yunwu Mountain. Sixteen-year-old Yun Wuxin practiced her sword on the roof of an ancient temple, her movements light as a swallow. After finishing a routine, she snuck a fruit from the offering table. When Abbess Jingyuan caught her, she laughed and ran off.

- A commotion rose from the town below the mountain. Yun Wuxin sneaked down and found a bully tormenting a father and daughter who made their living performing. She pretended to be timid as she stepped in to mediate, then secretly used a deft trick to make the bully humiliate himself in public.

- After she returned to the mountain, seven abbesses gathered in the meditation room. Abbess Jingyuan showed them a secret letter from the imperial court: the family that had abandoned Wuxin all those years ago was searching for her.

- The abbesses decided to send Wuxin down the mountain to gain experience. Each gave her a keepsake, and Abbess Jingxuan warned her, “These items are connected to your origins. Do not show them to anyone unless absolutely necessary.”
