Everyone Plays The Eighteen Kingdoms, but I’m the Only One on the Youth Server

Lin Xia transmigrates to a world where everyone plays The Shore of the Land. He discovers that his card draws cost gold coins, and every single one is a five-star card? Fifty high-powered armies are massed at the city gates, each player with a five-star general? Lin Xia: “Those are high-powered armies? I thought they were NPCs. Go tell that to my maxed-out Ma Chao, pulled with gold coins!” Enemy alliance: Don’t wait until my Han crossbowmen are right on top of you... Lin Xia: What Han crossbowmen? I thought you were talking about a breast pump. Spy: Lin Xia has only one army in his main city. Hurry and raid him. Enemy alliance: One army wiped out all of us? [The novel’s setting is that everyone plays the game, but spending is only one-tenth of what it is in real life, and drop rates are even lower. In Season 1, most players are free-to-play, first-time purchasers, or monthly-card subscribers. If you don’t like that, don’t read. Whales gradually start appearing later on.] [This is a normal novel. The protagonist won’t start out with an absurdly overpowered army. If you can’t stand the normal progression, this isn’t for you.] [To avoid inconsistencies, the official server in the novel uses the earlier general card pool. Five-star generals and tactics match those on the Youth server; one- to four-star cards remain unchanged.] [A strategy game that takes you back to the Three Kingdoms.] [Updated daily at noon sharp.] [Submissions welcome: stories and battle reports.]
