The Shuttlecock Boy

[Passionate sports, school rivalries, young shuttlecock players, and pressing fearlessly forward]

This is a parallel world where shuttlecock reigns supreme.

Professional stars are worth hundreds of millions, school courts roar with spectators, and shuttlecock battles on the streets of the night market conceal folk legends every bit as impressive as the pros.

Zhou Yang, a boy discarded by the track team, is pulled by “Devil Coach” Zheng Yi into a shuttlecock club with nothing left but a single tattered net after a burst-power test reveals his explosive athleticism.

The club brings together a group of “oddballs”: Wu Zigang, more accustomed to street fights in the night market than kicking a shuttlecock; the genius Chen Feiyu, who can predict its flight with data; Li Luoke, a sweetly absent-minded girl with exceptional athletic instincts; Lin Linlin, a calm and determined tactical mastermind; and the twin sisters Liu Ruyan and Liu Ruhua, whose backgrounds are shrouded in mystery...

Six players form a team. “From a disbanded club to national champions, do you dare?”

But the world of shuttlecock is far more intense than they could have imagined:

Some players kick “spirit shuttles” that embody their will. Others use calculations to create “perfect trajectories.” Fluorescent shuttles streak through the night market, while boys leap like eagles on school courts.

From making their mark in city-level competitions to facing the “Dacang Showdown” against eight powerhouse schools; from an underdog comeback at the provincial championships to the “High School Championship” at the national peak...

They tear through defenses with “Meteor Thrust,” upend the rules with “Night Market Mayhem,” and see through the future with the “Data Eye.”

But this is more than a story of victory.

It is shoulders meeting after defeat, and afterimages of extra practice in the dark of night.

It is the mutual respect embodied by the “Way of the Shuttlecock,” and young players discovering, in the feathers soaring through the air, how they themselves are growing up.

“Shuttlecock is a sport that lets even the weak take flight.”

Now, spread your wings...

Kick this shuttlecock toward the future!
