Could You Let Me Make You Some Sweet Rice Cakes?

Pure-hearted, prematurely aged, timid bottom VS master of self-delusion

Turning a straight man gay + chasing his husband after the crematorium + BE + both virgins + 1v1

A young man known as "Grandpa Grass" has arrived in Phoenix Mountain Village. At 23, he bears the face of a 60-year-old and guards the old-fashioned pastry-making skills his grandmother left behind, quietly waiting to die.

Then he meets Li Zhan, a straight man as dazzling as the sun. For the first time, he wants to steal a little of that light.

He dyes his white hair black and awkwardly offers Li Zhan some pastries, only to be met with a string of "old man"s.

When a diagnosis declares his organs are failing, he turns and runs, unaware that Li Zhan has already gone mad for him.

In the villa where he is held captive, he speaks his final words: "Don't cry for me." In his lover's arms, his youthful 24-year-old face returns, and his eyes close forever. From then on, the waters of the Phoenix River carry a bitter sweetness.
