Making Longing Difficult

Two male leads + pure love + mutual devotion + sweet and angsty + tragic ending

Su Sishen holds the boy in his arms tightly, unable to hide the love in his eyes. Duan Yuji gazes up at his beloved with shining eyes, nestled in his arms and utterly blissful.

“Duan Yuji, do you like the glass box I gave you?”

Su Sishen reaches out and strokes Duan Yuji’s head. Duan Yuji smiles in reply.

“Of course I do! I’ll treasure it.”

“You don’t have to.”

“Why not?”

Duan Yuji turns and cups Su Sishen’s face in his hands, looking puzzled.

“Why not?”

Su Sishen clasps Duan Yuji’s hands in one of his own and presses them against his heart, while wrapping his other arm around Duan Yuji’s waist. He puts on a serious expression.

“Duan Yuji, do you know how much I miss you?”

Duan Yuji smiles, his eyes crinkling.

“Of course I do.”

…

“Duan Yuji, you really have no idea…”

“Liar…”
