After His Canary Runs Away, the Overbearing CEO Panics

I was Huo Zhan's canary, and his shield.

I helped him get rid of women with ulterior motives, and he paid me.

Those good days came to an abrupt end when I discovered I was pregnant.

I'd once seen Huo Zhan drag a pregnant woman to the hospital by force to make her get an abortion.

Now it was my turn. I was afraid I wouldn't make it out alive.

So after one last night together, I packed my things and ran away in the middle of the night.

I heard Huo Zhan put out word that if he found me, he'd make sure I died horribly!
