After Losing My Beauty Filter, I Stunned the Whole Internet

The full-dive online game A Drunken Journey Through the Jianghu has taken the internet by storm. While countless players boost their looks by 100%, I do the opposite, lowering mine by 100% and wearing a mask to hide my face. I’m socially anxious, and my extraordinary looks have brought me countless problems since childhood. Now I just want some peace and quiet in the game. But then my in-game partner brings along a newly crowned goddess and coldly demands that I end our relationship. The goddess sneers at me: “You ugly freak, too scared to even show your face. What makes you think you can compete with me?” I look at her surgically altered face, which bears more than a passing resemblance to mine, and fall into thought.
