I Got a Boyfriend, and My Childhood Friend Got Jealous

One time, while taking a bath, I accidentally scrubbed my collarbone raw.

When I came home with a red-purple mark on my collarbone,

I happened to run into my childhood friend’s family, who were having dinner at my house.

Under the probing gazes of everyone there,

my mother asked if I was dating someone.

I glanced at my childhood friend, who seemed completely unconcerned, and secretly steeled myself.

Under everyone’s expectant gaze, I smiled and said,

“Yep, I have a boyfriend.”

My childhood friend, who hadn’t cared at all until then, suddenly darkened his expression.
