I Glanced Over from the Audience, and Got Sentenced to Three Years

Li Zubao: “Lawyer Ye, my wife transferred all the compensation money from the demolition, and none of our three children are mine. I want to file for divorce and get back half of the marital property.”

Lawyer Ye: “Divorce? What divorce? Didn't she deliberately hide the truth and defraud you with a fabricated story? If she defrauded you, that's fraud.”

Li Zubao: “Ah... Right, right, right. Fraud. It's fraud.”

Lin Hai: “Lawyer Ye, a wealthy newcomer crashed into the stone drum, more than six hundred years old, outside our ancestral hall. The clan asked him to pay damages, but his lawyer said it was just a rock and requested an appraisal. The appraisal says it's worth at most twenty yuan, but the other party is willing to pay 250. How can we get him to pay 10,000?”

Lawyer Ye: “Damages? For what? That's not a stone drum, it's a cultural relic. Damaging a cultural relic carries a maximum sentence of ten years. Isn't going to prison better than paying compensation?”
