A Sequel to Wuyou Ferry: Crossing the River of Oblivion

I couldn't accept the ending of Wuyou Ferry, where Banxia and Xuanye were torn apart. Xuanye bore all the pain and still had to shoulder his family's responsibilities, while Banxia spent twelve years in a daze before forcing herself to let go. It shouldn't have ended that way! Even if they had to weather hardships, they deserved a brighter, happier life and future!

In the final battle, everyone but Xuanye was killed. Xuanye used the Chang Le Sword from the Hidden Dragon Box to bring them all back to life, and time returned to twelve years earlier. He returned to the Wuyou Realm and resumed his identity as the realm's guardian, the black panther Man Ying. But everyone forgot what had happened with Xuanye and went back to their own lives.

This fanfiction sequel begins ten years after his return to the Wuyou Realm. Xuanye (Man Ying) leaves the realm to gather Yuanling, but the peach talisman that grants passage stops working. He can only wait until the realm gate opens again in two years before he can return.

During those two years, the wheels of fate begin turning once more. He and Banxia face challenge after challenge together, and become entangled in love again. They go from holding back to embracing, from fear to acceptance. They hold fast to their ideals without giving up on a life together, and ultimately find their way to a happy and fulfilling future.
