A Doctor's Calling and a Soldier's Dream: Intertwined Guardianship

Medical student Jiang Chen faces a choice as graduation approaches, torn between a lucrative opportunity at a major hospital and the calling of a military hospital. Moved by his grandfather's stories as a veteran and a speech by a retired soldier, he resolutely joins the military hospital. There, he meets Lu Xuan, a brave and steadfast special forces soldier. After Lu Xuan is injured during a military exercise, the two form a deep bond. Later, a sudden crisis erupts during a border operation, and the wounded pour in. Short on both staff and medicine, Jiang Chen holds his ground, while Lu Xuan is also gravely injured. Jiang Chen turns the tide and successfully completes the surgery. The two continue to grow in their respective fields: one protects lives with his medical skills, the other defends the nation with his passion. Through their sense of duty and responsibility, they write two intertwined yet equally radiant stories of protection.
