Synopsis

My name is Zhang Hesheng, and this is a true memoir about Bureau 749. I worked for years at the state institute for paranormal and supernatural research, better known as Bureau 749, the subject of so much speculation and gossip. I investigated and researched countless phenomena and paranormal incidents that people called supernatural, witnessed many facts I once thought impossible to believe, and met several extraordinary people who seemed almost godlike. I learned from them and worked alongside them.

My own body underwent some changes, too. After everything I experienced, I still decided to leave and return to a relatively peaceful, normal life, though even that felt like walking on thin ice. To be honest, my memories have changed, and I can no longer tell which things really happened and which did not. But while I can still remember some of it, I want to write it down. If one day I suddenly stop updating, or this book suddenly disappears, don't be surprised. That's perfectly normal. I can't reveal my experiences or the classified case files in my possession. So, reluctantly, I can only write these stories for you as supernatural mystery fiction. But as long as someone knows about them, that's enough.

My life has been quite a tale. When you're bored, just read it as a story. The truth is, a lot about this world is very different from what you imagine. The end of science is metaphysics. Heh, there's scientific reasoning behind that saying.

Ignore the text in parentheses. That's my disclaimer, so those people won't come after me again.

(This book is a fictional memoir. The story is made up. Any resemblance to actual persons or events is purely coincidental. Do not take it as fact.)

Here to Recommend Some Books

I'm looking for something like A Nine-Year-Old Girl Chasing Her Dream of Aerospace. I came across an aerospace-themed novel today, and it seemed pretty good. Since I liked it, I thought I'd bring it out for a spin.

How lucky you are to read this book! The author was once a member of Bureau 749 and an eyewitness to many events. This time he was willing to take risks and write a book that will be remembered for generations and educate people. It is rare and rare! This is definitely not something for after-dinner conversation! This book reveals the secrets of the world. Its purpose is to: enhance consciousness, upgrade the soul, purify the mind, practice good deeds, and have peace of mind to live up to this life!! In order to prevent this book from being unexpected, I copied the essence of each chapter for future reference! This is worthy of the author's hard work!! Especially the three sections above, Preface/Teacher's Dharma in a Dream/Kunlun Secret Star Monument, are the most tearful! For example, the word "starship" has a distant and vast aura, and the meaning behind it is so profound. . . . It's hard to describe in one word! I congratulate the author on continuing to dig deep to discover the secrets for future generations! Maybe this is the meaning of human life! Amitabha, the Taibao of Namo Tianyuan. . .

It's a very interesting book, and I also saw things about dragons in it. It was originally thought that the dragon was a crocodile, and then it was the product of combining the tribal totems of the Yellow Emperor, Yan Emperor, Chi You, cattle, deer and birds, or it was a kind of Qi. The author's book is a different story. I thought the crocodile originally recorded was 6 to 7 meters long, which was already very large. In the author's book, the dragon's length has reached more than 40 meters. Ancient creatures are indeed beyond my imagination. I haven't read the follow-up yet, and I'm looking forward to new insights. If I remember, I'll come back and comment [currently in progress] I saw the Mausoleum of the First Emperor from an angle I had never thought of at all. It was very novel. I highly recommend reading this book.

Damn, many of the stories in this book are the same as some I've read before. It's just weird why so few people read it. I have to hurry up and see if it is taken off the shelves one day.
