Our Fate Ends Here, May the Rest of My Life Bloom

In the wedding dressing room, Ye Yun’an slowly places a hand on her rounded belly, her expression bleak. “Xiaoya, could you make an appointment for an abortion at your hospital for me?” “Set it for… three days from now.” Her best friend Shen Ya, dressed as a bridesmaid, freezes. “An’an, have you lost your mind?” “Xiao Chenyu has a low sperm count. You went through so much to get pregnant, drinking Chinese medicine and trying IVF. Today is your wedding day. How can you just decide you don’t want the baby…” Shen Ya looks into Ye Yun’an’s numb, dark eyes. In the end, she swallows the rest of her questions. At the wedding, the giant LED screen displays not the wedding photos she had carefully chosen, but Ruan Qingge’s pregnancy test results. And in the box for the child’s father, Xiao Chenyu’s name is written in plain sight.
