Badge Number 079312

Bian Xia, daughter of the anti-drug hero Bian Haitao, develops dissociative identity disorder after being held hostage by criminals. Her first personality is extremely timid, while her second is exceptionally intelligent, with remarkable fighting and shooting skills and outstanding criminal-investigation abilities. She usually presents as her first personality, and her second only emerges when she’s in danger or her first personality deliberately steps aside. Those familiar with what happened back then know about her condition. So even though her first personality’s grades are terrible, she’s still recruited into the police force, inheriting her father Bian Haitao’s badge number, 079312. On her very first day reporting for duty, Bian Xia runs into a major case and meets her future partner, forensic pathologist Su Qing.
