Xu Xingyan was scared out of her wits, but after their homeroom teacher played matchmaker, she and Chen Yizhou became deskmates.
In the “Farm” game,
Xu Xingyan, whose username was Xianxian, accidentally stole a cabbage from Chen Yizhou, whose username was Buyexing. While everyone was hunting for the thief, a bowl of the cafeteria’s notoriously awful cabbage soup appeared in Chen Yizhou’s “Monastery,” setting off a craze for “confessing your love with cabbage soup.”
After Chen Yizhou teased her, Xu Xingyan’s secret identity was exposed, and Chen Yizhou stole all her crops.
Of course, Xu Xingyan only dared to act tough in the game. She stole a carrot in revenge, only to have her own farm cleaned out again.
As the stealing went on, Chen Yizhou had ulterior motives. He took the initiative to raise their friendship level, unlocking a couples’ farm that they managed together from then on.
The forum erupted with negative comments.
The criticism shifted from Xu Xingyan to Chen Yizhou, back and forth. In the end, Xu Xingyan chose to protect Chen Yizhou. Five and a half years later, they reunited.
