[Both virgins, sweet and angsty one-on-one romance | Marriage before love | Contract marriage | CEO | Entertainment industry | Light suspense] [An energetic, ambitious actress in the entertainment industry VS a scheming, multifaceted tycoon, cast aside and scorned by his family, who made it on his own] Huo Qianyu pushed a contract toward her. “Marry me, and The Pirate Ship is yours.” Xiang Nanzhi, a young actress who had once been famous but was deliberately suppressed by her rivals for eight years, made her choice in the face of a tempting offer. “Do you want me to trade my body for it?” she asked. She thought it was a physical transaction, but the other party wanted something else, and much more. After willingly signing the contract, Huo Qianyu became her angel investor as well as her partner. What were they now: friends or lovers? Familiar, yet somehow unfamiliar. More importantly, after enduring eight years of humiliation, she was determined to settle the score, one debt at a time. Years later, Huo Qianyu was the only one who still remembered Xiang Nanzhi. He needed her desperately, in an almost pathological way. When he was vulnerable, he would look at her with red-rimmed eyes and say, “Don’t leave.” In the middle of the night, he would hold her from behind and ask, “Are you trying to run away again?” She had the upper hand in the relationship. He set a trap, and she accepted. He came closer, and she made her judgment. They pushed and pulled, each retreating and advancing in turn. He kept a plan from her, but she said, “You can’t keep it from me forever.” The person behind that accident was far more terrifying and complicated than they had imagined. How would they escape the trap?
