On Our Daughter's First-Month Celebration, the Princess's Consort Said He Wanted to Take an Equal Wife

On the day of our daughter's one-month celebration, my husband brought his mistress, Yue Niang, and her twins into the Princess's residence.

He said, “Yue Niang and I grew up together. If you hadn't asked His Majesty to arrange our marriage, she would have been the one to marry me.”

“She spent years wandering outside without even a title, and gave birth to a boy and a girl for me. That's an auspicious sign for the family.”

“Taking advantage of the good fortune of our little girl's one-month celebration, I've decided to bring Yue Niang into the residence as my secondary wife.”

My mother-in-law held the twins, unable to put them down.

Yue Niang knelt before me, looking pitiful and lovely. “Please drink this tea, Sister.”

I gave a cold laugh. A princess's husband wants to take a secondary wife? He's clearly tired of living.
