I Took a Russian Girl on a Real-Life Date Around China, Making the Whole World Jealous

Su Quan successfully struck up a long-distance online relationship on an overseas platform with Alina, a beautiful Russian doll of a girlfriend.

She was coming to Dragon Country to meet him in person.

But influenced by misinformation from Western media, Alina arrived at the airport with a mountain of luggage fit for a refugee fleeing a disaster: woven sacks stuffed with potatoes and onions, a mess tin, water-purification tablets, compressed biscuits… She was convinced Dragon Country was short on supplies and had come to “help” her boyfriend!

“My God! This is Dragon Country?!”

“Why do I only have to tap my phone to pay?!”

“Oh my God! This car… drives itself?! There’s no driver?!”

“Why can I check in with face recognition? My face is the key?!”

“Why can you eat so much seafood and so many vegetables for free?”

From the airport to the hotel, from street stalls to hot pot restaurants, Alina’s perceptions were constantly being overturned. Her stereotypes about the country were blown to pieces by mobile payments, self-driving cars, face-recognition check-ins, affordable, high-quality goods, and buffets so lavish they dazzled the eye. She had brought potatoes, only to discover that Dragon Country had so many potatoes, they fed them to pigs!

When this livestream showed the world what life in Dragon Country was really like,

countless foreign viewers were shocked, envious, and left drooling!

Only then did they realize how long they had been misled. In the distant East, the “rabbits” had been quietly living the good life the whole world envied!
