Harry Potter: The Things That Happened That Year

An original male lead and female lead, happy ending, set in the Marauders era. Ensemble cast. Gloria Evans is a rising fourth-year Ravenclaw at Hogwarts. During summer break, she discovers she has a cousin, Lily Evans. Her cousin gets tangled up in a love-hate relationship with two boys. Leah: Not my problem. Her cousin gets married. Leah: What’s that got to do with me? Her cousin asks her to take in her child. Leah: Mitchell, open the door and sic the dogs on them. The relationship between Leah and the Ravenclaw male lead goes from friendship to romance. They’re both sapiosexual. The story stays almost entirely outside the original plot and barely changes its main events. The male lead and Snape are something like frenemies. The female lead simply can’t stand Dumbledore and hates the Marauders. She’s indifferent toward Lily and will not take Harry in! She won’t get involved in Harry’s relationships with Petunia or Snape! She’ll help people out, but not much. Neither lead likes taking sides; they’re strictly neutral. Fans of the Marauders may want to leave, as some of the content could be upsetting.
