The Top-Tier Star’s Career Crumbles. Have the Haters Become His Main Supporters?

In 2014, Jiang Lu shot to fame on a talent-show stage with a bizarre performance in overalls, bouncing a basketball and singing, dancing, rapping, and playing basketball. But at the peak of his popularity, a scandal that brought his image crashing down sent him tumbling just as quickly. When his devoted fans’ attempts to control the online narrative proved futile, the capitalists looked on coldly, and his endorsement brands rushed to cut ties, only his former antis swam against the tide, shouting: “Fame brings fair-weather supporters; twilight reveals the true believers!” The antis spontaneously formed an “Anti-Cancellation Alliance,” using meme videos to rehabilitate his image. They even began spending their own money on Jiang Lu’s endorsed products and new album, despite never having supported him before. They wanted to prove, “The top-tier star we dragged into the limelight is ours to protect!” In this domestic entertainment industry, anyone can fall from grace. Anyone but our idol! They never settle for an ordinary fan war. If they’re going to fight, they’ll fight in the finals! Inspired by the Cai Kunkun scandal! Supporting female characters: Reba, Yang Mi, and popular actresses born in the 1990s and 2000s! Career path: debut as a top-tier star, become an actor, then a director, then a capitalist!
