I, Yue Buqun, Sold My Disciple Linghu Chong from the Start

Modern office drone Hua Guhan transmigrates into The Smiling, Proud Wanderer and finds himself in the body of Yue Buqun, the Huashan Sect leader who has just been struck dead by lightning. The sect is so destitute it has only fifteen jin of coarse rice left, and the disciples are on the verge of starving. With gritted teeth, he temporarily sells ten top disciples, including Linghu Chong, to the richest man, Zhu Bapi, raising a thousand cash coins to activate the Zixia Treasure Cauldron. Unexpectedly, he obtains the complete set of the Golden Snake Gentleman’s supreme arts.

With Zixia true energy protecting his public image in his left hand, and the Golden Snake’s ruthlessness carving out a way forward in his right, he builds a Flute-Blowing Tower to gather moonlight and cultivate qi, and a Zither Cliff to draw mountain winds into sword energy. On the night Liu Zhengfeng washes his hands of the martial world, he stands against the Songshan Sect and brings the twin masters of zither and flute to Huashan to join forces against their enemies. As the cauldron gradually resonates with the four stages of Zixia Divine Skill, the martial world realizes that the gentle “Gentleman Sword” has changed. He can balance the food accounts and plan ahead, and he dares to become a golden serpent beneath the moon, wiping out every villain, all so the Huashan Sect can stay on its feet in this dog-eat-dog world.

Watch as an unconventional transmigrator uses modern thinking to break through dead ends and restore Huashan’s edge amid the struggle between good and evil, letting the light of the Zixia Treasure Cauldron illuminate the road Yue Buqun never got to finish.
