Tales of Jin Yong: Robbing Xiaolongnu from the Start

Lan Tianpeng, a history student in the 21st century, dies suddenly while researching the Quanzhen Order’s Rules for a Life of Seclusion. His soul travels to Mount Zhongnan in Jin Yong’s universe, where he takes over the body of Zhang Shitou, a senior outer disciple of the Quanzhen Order, and awakens the Great Thief System, bound to the Chivalrous Path Treasure Cauldron. When he arrives at the scene of Zhen Zhibing assaulting Xiao Longnu, he uses the cauldron in a blood sacrifice to activate its disguise ability, impersonates Zhen Zhibing, and defects from the Quanzhen Order. Making the Chivalrous Path Treasure Cauldron his foundation, Lan Tianpeng establishes a sect on Mount Hua and earns merit by rescuing ordinary people, while seeking to unravel the mystery of Xiao Longnu’s origins and fulfill Wang Chongyang’s three wishes.

Meanwhile, six hidden storylines about family bonds gradually unfold, including Xiao Longnu’s blood connection to Zhao Ribi, the danger of Hong Lingbo’s Chilian snake venom, and the martial arts lineage shared by Li Mochou and Lin Chaoying. From Mount Zhongnan to Mount Hua, amid adventures across the Qinling Mountains and the Yellow River basin, he absorbs sin points with the treasure cauldron to strengthen himself and seeks the truth behind the words “act on Heaven’s behalf” engraved on it, as he begins a legendary quest to reshape the order of chivalry in Jin Yong’s universe.
