Forget Being a Top Salesman, I Just Want to Drive My Boss into Bankruptcy

Lin Heng works in sales. For the first half of his life, he lived like a beast of burden, waking earlier than the chickens and going to bed later than the dogs. He was exhausted, but he didn't dare take a break, because he was working hard just to get by. Then one day, the Slacking System awakened! [Ding! Congratulations, Host, you have successfully bound the System.] [As long as the Host slacks off in a way that influences more people, you can earn Slacking Points!] Looking at all the wonderful things in the System shop, he decided to slack off, even though he was appearing on a variety show. The female boss said, “Lin Heng, I have high hopes for you. There's a batch of wooden combs in the warehouse. If you can sell them, I'll give you a promotion and a raise!” Lin Heng nodded in agreement. But as soon as he turned around, he hauled the combs to a temple, found a tree, and went to sleep. An expert said, “Slacking off during work hours? Contestants like this should be fired immediately.” A workaholic said, “How can you earn your boss's appreciation if you don't do your job properly? I despise you!” Lin Heng asked, “What do we work for?” Everyone answered, “Of course it's so we can have a better life in the future!” Lin Heng said, “Then isn't my life already good enough?” The temple's wind chimes mingled with the sounds of Buddhist chanting. The young man leaning against the bodhi tree looked utterly content. For a moment, everyone fell silent. “Oh no, I think I'm actually starting to envy this kind of life.” “Starting today, I'm joining the slacker army too!”
