Seven Killers in the Taihang Mountains

Meng Tieshan, a grassroots commander from a farming background, leads his guerrilla force to survive and grow under the Japanese army’s “Three Alls Policy,” eventually becoming a landmark force in the War of Resistance in North China. Set in the North China theater from 1937 to 1945, with the Eighth Route Army’s Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Border Region as its stage, the story combines real battles, including Pingxingguan and the Hundred Regiments Offensive, with fictional events.
