Transmigrated as the Villainess, and Lord Xiao Became a Hopeless Romantic

[Both Devoted, Heroine Takes No Insults Lightly, Female Lead Transmigrates Into a Book, Male Lead Reborn, Heroine Balances Revenge and Business, Male Lead Seeks Revenge, Marriage Before Love, The Two Keep Working Together] Su Zhenzhao transmigrates into a novel about humiliating villains and serving up face-slaps. Yes, she is the villain: the book’s antagonist, an extreme lovesick fool, and a senseless plot device whose only purpose is to give people reasons to call her a villain and take her down.

Su Zhenzhao decides she can’t follow the original plot and should live her own life. But Xiao Mozhan, the original novel’s male supporting character, makes things difficult for her from their very first meeting and sets traps for her at every turn. After several rounds, Su Zhenzhao is sure that Xiao Mozhan has been reborn. Fine. If she can’t avoid him, she’ll fight back. The two end up working together, but the world is ever-changing. The more success Su Zhenzhao achieves, the more people resent her. All right, then: she’ll repay every slight in kind.

Su Zhenzhao: “I’ll avenge my mother. I won’t spare anyone connected to this.”

A guard asks, “Lord Xiao, why are you standing behind Second Miss Su?”

Xiao Mozhan: “She wants to avenge her mother with her own hands, so I’ll let her do it herself.” [The male lead’s journey: I want revenge + she’s not so bad after all + falling in love without realizing it + he says nothing, but quietly gets jealous + protecting her in every way]
