[Zhou Li] I Meet You in Spring

Everyone survives, picking up right at the finale. Li Lun has no idea why he's come back to life, or how he ended up inhabiting the body of a mortal boy. Family, friendship, love. This is a story of self-redemption through love. Only by experiencing the full range of human emotions can one attain perfection. They're all waiting for the executioner's blade to fall, perhaps long ago, perhaps far in the future. So which line is the truth? Is all the suffering just a false alarm when it finally ends, a great dream from which we wake, or does the nightmare only begin when you think it's over? Rules for Entering the Dream: 1. What they say may not always be the whole truth, or even correct. Don't trust any image or thing you see, either. We may not be the only ones who don't know the truth. 2. Every sudden scare and unexpected delight has been planned in advance. Now, dreamwalkers, go find the truth. (The plot calls for the first part to be told from Li Lun's perspective, before switching to a third-person perspective later on.)
