Help! This Merit System Is Toxic!

【Demon Lord Reborn + System + Face-Slapping Power Fantasy + Merit-Based Cultivation + Forced Good Deeds + Says One Thing, Means Another + Strong Leads】 The world-ending Demon Lord Ye Liuli was reborn, but got bound to a vicious System! 【Merit-to-Godhood System】: Host, do one good deed every day! Fail a task and you’ll get electrocuted, lose cultivation, or be made to run a hundred laps in public! Looking at the task list, which included “help an old granny cross the street (monster-beast edition),” “heal your nemesis,” and “reform the greatest hypocrite in the world (the male lead),” Ye Liuli wanted to explode on the spot! She was the mighty Demon Lord. Now she had to play the “saint” and earn merit to trade for cultivation and magical treasures? Fine! For the sake of power, she’d put up with it! From then on, the cultivation world gained an unusually charming “living bodhisattva.” She would gently save someone, then think to herself, “Tsk, what a pain. If it weren’t for the System, I’d have killed you already!” A harmless, helpful flower on the surface, she was more ruthless than anyone when it came to action. She specialized in dealing with anyone who challenged her, and her face-slapping and scum-punishing antics were ridiculously satisfying! The villains: “?? Wasn’t she supposed to be a good person? How is she even more demonic than us?!” Mo Chenyuan, leader of the righteous sects: “Why does this woman’s good karma... carry a hint of demonic energy? How interesting.” System: “Host, keep it up! You’ll become a sage through merit in no time!” (Thinking: Plan accomplished.) Ye Liuli: “Get lost! Once I’ve saved up enough merit, the first thing I’m doing is tearing apart your stupid System!”
