Reborn as Zero: What? 336 Hours in Hell

Yangsuke Shin, the local tough guy on an old street, believes that might makes right. When he stepped in to save a girl who was being bullied, he took on three thugs at once, only to get threatened with, “See you on the highway tonight.” Yangsuke Shin laughed and went to meet them. He expected a bunch of nobodies, but instead a speeding dump truck came barreling toward him: “Truck-kun's second assassination.” Just like that, it sent him straight to the afterlife.

When he opened his eyes again, he had been reborn in the Ultraman universe and bound to the mysterious [Infinite Evolution System]. Before he could even figure out what was going on, a monster capable of destroying the world began tearing down skyscrapers! Even more absurdly, a red, blue, and silver figure stood atop the ruins: the Land of Light's strongest warrior, Ultraman Zero! But the look he gave Yangsuke Shin was full of undisguised disdain. “Human, get behind me!”

A hellish difficulty level from the start? Yangsuke Shin was furious. “I've taken more punches on the streets than you've had bowls of rice! Don't underestimate how tough a thug can be!” Forced to bond with the haughty Zero, he perfectly recreated the iconic scene from “Ultraman Saga”: Zero looked down on humanity and refused to fuse with a human!

But when Tartarus tore through time and space with his Golden Warrior army, Belial's dark empire returned, and the shadow of Legendary Hyper Zetton fell over Earth... the streetwise grit inside Yangsuke Shin and the System's limitless potential began to grow unchecked. From a “five-battle-scum” mocked by Zero to a “punk warrior of light” fighting alongside him against Reiblood and thwarting Alien Bat's schemes, he would use his hardest fists to tell the whole universe:

“Ultraman? I'm the one who beats up Ultraman! Though I only beat up the ones who come to Earth and cause trouble without knowing who they're messing with!”
