My In-Laws Demanded My Salary: We Don't Keep Idlers in This Family. I Fired Back with a Call: Let's Remarry

The day before the post-wedding banquet, I accidentally overheard my in-laws saying they planned to put their new daughter-in-law in her place that evening.

At dinner, my father-in-law did indeed ask me to hand over my salary card.

I firmly refused.

My mother-in-law immediately started cursing me out. "You're a twice-married woman. What are you making a fuss about? We don't support freeloaders in this family. If you won't hand over your money, get out!"

Looking at the lavishly decorated marital home, I laughed in anger. "This is my house. If anyone has to get out, wouldn't it be you?"
