I'm Not a Saintess

In the far eastern seas, my fearsome reputation as Long Sanniang makes countless foreign demons who try to invade the border tremble at the sound of my name.

But the people of the Heavenly Court say I'm a Dragon Clan saintess, breathtakingly beautiful and gentle, and rumors claim the Heavenly Dao favors me. If an Immortal Lord becomes my immortal partner, he can ascend to godhood and glimpse the Heavenly Dao.

Later, thanks to my overwhelming fame, I got married.

Father told me to keep calm no matter what and never, ever reveal my true nature.

Thankfully, my bargain-bin husband was as cold as ice. He paid me no mind and even hated the sight of me.

Then I heard that the woman he loved had fallen.

I accidentally wandered into his cultivation grounds and unexpectedly saw that every painting on the walls of his cave depicted me wearing a dragon-patterned mask and sacred dragon armor, fighting off the foreign demons.

But I had abandoned the name Long Sanniang as soon as I left the Dragon Clan's waters.
