After My Livestream Disaster, I Became Everyone's Darling

Overworked office drone Lin Xiaoyu gets bound to the “Self-Destruction System” and goes viral live-streaming herself gnawing on her boss’s cactus. But she mistakes AI engineer Gu Xinghe’s luxury car for her boss’s ride and flops down in front of the wheels, clutching the cactus. “Pay me for my ancestral jade bangle!” The sharp-tongued big shot rolls down the window and tips her one yuan by scanning the code. “An electric car can’t crush a cactus. How about I give you half of it as a bonus for your acting?”

This AI, whose mouth says one thing while his heart says another, publicly teases her for “eating cactus like a robotic hamster,” but secretly adds filters to her livestream (though they make her look like a crawfish), deletes data from the gene bank, and even uses his mechanical heart to crash and reboot over her ridiculous antics. When the System orders her to win over her best friend and the AI’s identity is exposed, the two form an “anti-rat-race alliance.” They get the boss slacking off by live-streaming cactus snacks, and use a robotic arm to unbox deliveries (strike that). In the end, they discover that the secret to saving the world is daring to turn a humiliating moment in front of an AI into a superpower! (Gu Xinghe rubs his forehead: Could you please stop poking my mechanical heart with that cactus first?)
