Eradicating the Eerie, Starting with a Flesh Monster

[No System + Cthulhu + Supernatural Resurgence + Power Progression + Mild Gore + A Touch of the Bizarre + Not Overpowered] One day, a hole opened in the azure sky, and a strange red light shone through into the real world. From that day on, supernatural forces began seeping into the world. Some people gained powers and used them to satisfy all kinds of desires. Others were oppressed and abused, unable to fight back even until the moment of their death. Some called this power a divine blessing. Others called it an apocalyptic calamity. Desire is never satisfied. It only grows more unrestrained, until more and more people lose their minds and turn into monsters. Human civilization suffered a devastating blow. By the time monsters had overrun the world, people finally realized they had lost the world that belonged to them. To preserve civilization, the “Greenhouse” was created. The survivors fenced off a patch of land as their last haven and established numerous rules, while setting up layers of checkpoints beyond its borders. It was their last resort. Later, three people with immense powers walked out of the Greenhouse. “Fenshi, are you sure about this?” “How will we know unless we try? You two feel the same way I do.” And so, the story begins.
