Copying Classics in the Cthulhu World

[Transcription] [Cthulhu] [Fate] [Power Fantasy] Zhou Wu transmigrates, born again as a baby with all the memories of his past life. Zhou Wu: “Awesome!!!! So I’ve got the perfect life template, huh!” After studying for a while, Zhou Wu realizes that this world is similar to his old one, but not the same. Many famous works from his world don’t exist here, and he has a photographic memory that lets him recall their contents in detail. Zhou Wu: “Cool!!!! So my golden finger is being a literary plagiarist, huh!” But geniuses don’t appear out of nowhere. Starting in elementary school, Zhou Wu uses an adult’s wisdom to build up his image as a child prodigy and learn more, so he won’t be caught off guard when he needs that knowledge later. He waits until high school to finally write his first novel in this world, The Little Prince. Thanks to the child-prodigy image he has cultivated for so long, and the genuine knowledge he has accumulated, no one suspects a thing. From then on, Zhou Wu begins his life as a literary plagiarist. By the time he turns twenty-eight, he has become a world-famous literary giant, with more awards to his name than he can count. Zhou Wu: “Hehe!” Zhou Wu: “Wait, what do you mean they found R’lyeh under the sea? What do you mean the fish-men of Innsmouth have come ashore?” Oh, shit! No more hehe! No more hehe! This is the Cthulhu Mythos! I’ve become a literary giant in the Cthulhu Mythos!! I want to go home, I want to go home!!!!
