The Silk Road Case of the Tang Dynasty

Camel bells ring along the Silk Road,

Hu merchants carry their goods to Dunhuang.

The laws of the Tang are clear and firm,

The Subcommentary and Six Statutes serve as guides.

The law ensures fair trade,

And goods pass through checkpoints without hindrance.

The Tang ruled commerce through the rule of law,

Passing its wisdom down far and wide!
