You Were Supposed to Make a Gacha Game, So Why Are You Dating Dawei?

After a gacha mishap caused by spending money, otaku Bai Yuan unexpectedly awakens reborn in a parallel universe where anime culture is thriving. He also binds himself to a quirky, relentlessly snarky “Anime Game Creation Master System.” He discovers that the future gaming industry big shots have not only become women, but each has her own unique quirks.

Genius programmer Cai Haoyu has become Cai Haoyue, a cool, sharp-tongued woman who's secretly tsundere and longs to be doted on like a princess. She's currently fretting over changing her name. Marketing wizard Liu Wei has become Liu Wei, a cheerful, sunny little demon who actually lives for mischief. In a video, she complains that the animation budget is too low.

The System's mission for Bai Yuan is to build his own anime game empire and seek out and win over these not-yet-famous, gender-swapped future industry stars. Faced with this challenge, Bai Yuan feels both excited and overwhelmed. On one hand, there's the untapped anime game market and the “secrets to getting rich” in his head. On the other are the troublesome but tremendously promising beauties who are future industry big shots.

“Wait! You two are going to make Genshin Impact and Honkai in the future, right? So why are you nitpicking my little pixel-farming project?” Bai Yuan feels that his path after being reborn is far more eventful than he imagined, or perhaps just a tiny bit more of a headache.

This is a lighthearted, fun story about a reborn man using knowledge from the future and an irreverent System to develop anime games in a parallel universe, while trading wits with gender-swapped industry big shots, and perhaps getting up to a little something else as well.
