Big Sis, Please Don’t Pick Me Up from the Trash

[Interstellar | Sweet Romance]

In the first year of the Interstellar Era, Sweet Taro, the little princess of the Moai Star, went missing.

Lively and clingy, with a sassiness as sharp as a little sweet pepper, she vanished without a trace on the eve of her succession ceremony.

Rumor had it that she eloped with her betrothed, Prince Ji Heng of the Empire. Others said she had been kidnapped by rebels and never seen again.

Three years later, someone found a girl in a heap of starship wreckage, dressed in rags, with tangled hair and a candy hanging from her mouth.

She looked up at the impossibly cool man with shining eyes and said with a grin, “Hey, handsome, are you looking for a wife?”

The man looked down at her, his voice cool and even. “No. My fiancée is back.”

He is Ji Heng.

The youngest commander in the Empire, calm and taciturn, and the biggest hard nut to crack in the entire galaxy.

No one knows that he was stranded on the edge of the star sea for three years, holding on to only one belief: that the girl who had “thrown him away” would come back for him.

Then one day, the girl really did come bouncing back, holding up her trouser legs and calling everyone “big brother,” yet not remembering him at all.

He smiled and pulled her into his arms. “Why are you calling him ‘big brother’? You didn’t flirt with me like that before.”

But she didn’t know that the kind, dependable “big brother” who was always looking out for her was the one pulling the strings to protect her.

He protected her, loved her, and was even willing to defeat the entire Ji family, all just to make her look back at him.

And as she grew through the cracks, she went from a “little princess” everyone fought over to a mature, loving person
