The Forbidden Zone of Passion

At eighteen, Song Nianchu loved Wen Xizhou with all her heart.

He was a refined, aloof darling of the heavens, born into a prominent family and accustomed to standing above everyone else.

She pursued him with such fervor that everyone knew she loved him, and made no effort to hide it.

But Wen Xizhou never responded. He couldn’t even be bothered to turn her down.

Eventually, she gave up.

At a banquet six years later, she leaned against a man in a black suit, twirling his tie around her finger. Her voice was soft. “Ji Siyan, want to date?”

The man looked down at her and smiled casually, his deep voice seductive. “Think carefully before you play, sweetheart.”

Everyone knew Song Nianchu liked Wen Xizhou.

But she turned around and got close to the very rival Wen Xizhou feared most, the tycoon who could turn the world upside down with a wave of his hand: Ji Siyan.

Her feelings had been trampled underfoot, but he picked them up, carefully polished them, and drew her into his arms.

Only when Wen Xizhou’s eyes finally reddened did he grab her wrist and demand in a low voice, “Song Nianchu, what exactly is going on between you and him?”

She turned to look at the man not far away.

Ji Siyan glanced up, his voice deep and lazy. “Isn’t it obvious?”

Song Nianchu smiled, casually pulled free of Wen Xizhou’s grip, and walked over to Ji Siyan. She let him wrap an arm around her waist and hold her firmly against him.

She once gazed up at Wen Xizhou in humble adoration. Now,

she couldn’t even be bothered to look at him.
