Speculating and Profiteering in the Courtyard

This novel has no hostility or angst, focusing more on everyday family life. This is my first attempt, so I hope all readers will cut me some slack and go easy on me. Liu Peng is an orphan who unexpectedly arrives in the world of the Siheyuan. Here, he has a caring father, a chatty grandmother, and a well-behaved little sister, allowing him to feel the warmth of family every day. As for the many different personalities in the Siheyuan, they have nothing to do with him. His rule is simple: as long as nobody messes with him, whether they are good or bad is none of his concern. He thought that with a System, he could be a couch potato, marry a wife, have a few kids, coast safely until the reforms and opening-up, and then soar to success. But an unexpected System notification led Liu Peng to make a different choice. See how things unfold for everyone in the Siheyuan...
