Synopsis

In 1927, Chen Zhiyuan, a son of a peasant family, graduated with honors from the Huangpu Military Academy and was assigned to the 14th Division of the National Revolutionary Army as a trainee captain company commander. He first showed his military talents in the anti-bandit operation in Jiangxi. -Chen Zhiyuan outsmarted the bandit camp and rescued the captive villagers during the bandit suppression.
