Back to 1937

I was livestreaming a video call when I connected with a battlefield medic from the Red Flame Army.

"Ten boxes of antibiotics for one piece of tree bark. Deal?"

The battlefield medic's right leg was rotting, and the biting wind had turned his lips purple. Yet his gaze was unwavering.

"Antibiotics are scarce medicine. They've all been snatched up."

"You must be a traitor. Don't think you can trick us!"

I sent him a full bag of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs, and emergency medical supplies.

The livestream's viewers soared into the tens of millions!

Later, the nation came knocking.

"Our newly developed fighter jet! Let the enemy see what our people can do!"
