You Asked Me to Make a Blockbuster, So I Made a Knockoff and Earned Ten Billion

That year, Zhou Xuan had just transmigrated, with only 200 yuan in his pocket, when he watched the eagerly anticipated Spider-Man prepare for its worldwide premiere. In his previous life, Zhou Xuan had been tricked into going to Myawaddy, where he worked his way up to become the number-two boss of a scam compound. He successfully brought the compound down, only to have his spine shattered when someone ran into him. After spending hundreds of days and nights bedridden in a hospital, he resolutely brought forward the release of Nezha vs. Spider-Man, a film shot in just ten days. He'd only meant to copy the makers of Atlantic Rim, who had ridden Pacific Rim's coattails, and make a little money by riding Spider-Man's coattails... Who could have guessed he'd ride it right into the ground! That year, countless Hollywood blockbusters trembled in Zhou Xuan's shadow. Hollywood had Iron Man. Great Xia had Rebar Man. Hollywood had Avatar. Great Xia had Avataar. Hollywood had The Matrix. Great Xia had The Hacker Dynasty. “What do you mean, visual storytelling, humanistic art, and the gravitas of cinema?!” “Sorry, I don't know anything about that. I only know how to ride a hit's coattails.” “If a blockbuster is getting a lot of publicity, that's the one I'll ride! And I'll release my movie two weeks before theirs!” “What? You're suing me? I haven't plagiarized anything, and I haven't broken the law. If the production company sues me, won't that just give my film even more publicity?!”
