Delivering Takeout to Ghosts: The Cure for Cyberpsychos

Lu Chen was a delivery driver ground down by algorithms.

Ever since taking a mysterious order, I’ve become the most unhinged cyber-reaper on the entire internet

I burn a paper-mache coffee machine for an overworked programmer who died on the job, and the ghost sobs as he fixes bugs. “The King of Hell optimized me before I could even enjoy my benefits!”

I deliver chilled poisoned wine to Qin Shi Huang, and he gives me five stars in return:

“Bold Qin folk, work yourselves to death and crush those six kingdoms full of losers!”

Others livestream for money. I livestream for my life!

Send a “doge” tip in the chat and watch me beat up AI capitalists!

“Folks, after I finish this delivery, I’m hanging up my hat for good!” Lu Chen clenches his cigarette between his teeth. “Deduct my pay? Give me a bad review? When I was making deliveries in the Haunted Domain, even the King of Hell had to give me an on-time delivery bonus!”
