In the world of Glory, the Dustglow team led by Su Ying suffers a devastating blow: its sponsor pulls out, its manager quits, and its players leave, bringing the team to the brink of disbanding. At the crucial moment, she calls on her childhood sweetheart and fiancé, Lu Chen, to step in. He injects funds, rebuilds the team, and renames it Yanhuang.
Lu Chen's in-game character, Diming, is the team captain, coach, and heart and soul. A master of every class, he knows each one's strengths and weaknesses and has mastered every technique. He is also a natural leader, always able to calmly devise a way through adversity.
Su Ying's in-game character, Chenying, is the vice-captain and a master of crowd control. She excels at weaving psychological tactics into her play and winning with a single decisive strike.
The rebuilt Yanhuang team trains hard in Zone 9, starting out in the challenge tournament. At first, they struggle to assemble a full roster; in the middle stage, they work to find their rhythm, and later they begin to hit their stride.
Even when faced with formidable opponents and malicious obstruction, they break through with Lu Chen's godlike play and unconventional tactics. They make it into the professional league, stand out in the regular season, and stage an upset to win the playoffs. Finally, alongside other professional stars, they represent their country at the International Invitational and the World Cup, claiming the championship through sheer determination and seamless teamwork.
On the Glory stage, the Yanhuang team makes history. Off the court, Lu Chen and Su Ying find their happy ending and walk down the aisle together, beginning a new chapter of their lives in the world of Glory.
