A New Take on Water Margin

As a boy, I read Water Margin and always lamented the heroes’ tragic ends. What if Chao Gai had survived and the amnesty had never begun? What would Liangshan have been like under the Flowery Monk’s leadership? Was the cannibalistic inn at Cross Slope really as the stories said? Now I take up my pen to reshape the tale into a new Water Margin, one that escapes the shackles of accepting imperial amnesty. Let the brawny hero who uprooted the weeping willow preside over the Hall of Loyalty and Justice, and let the Night Hag of Mengzhou Road rekindle her bloody fires. With ink and brush, I’ll write another tale of a martial world shaped by vengeance and fierce loyalty.

My new work is out! You’re welcome to read it on Tomato Novel. I hope you enjoy it. Your support motivates me to write, and I’ll do my best to tell every story well!
