Self-Destructive Tendencies

Some people are reborn to find true love; others are reborn to work hard and build a career.

Bai Xiao has been reborn again and again, but nothing ever changes. His father still doesn't love him, his mother still ignores him, his classmates bully him at school, and at home anyone can hit or curse him. After finally marrying the person he thought was right for him, he learns that this good person was only an illusion. Their innate viciousness can never be changed.

And he is still alone, with no one who cares about him.

At least he still knows what despair is. As Bai Xiao lies dying in a pool of blood, a bitter smile crosses his face. His voice weak and trembling, he says, "Maybe I'm just a masochist. I can't change..."
